All our servers are hosted in the EU. This ensures that all of the data is being covered by the European Union’s strict laws on data privacy.
$BAH does not collect or send any personal data for use by topmind GmbH or a third party. All data you enter is stored locally on your device, with the exception of iCloud backups if enabled. Neither topmind GmbH or a third party has access to your personal data. Persisted data consist of financial data entries created by you.
If enabled, $BAH stores backups of your financial data entries in you personal iCloud. This is done for the purpose of restoring your data from a previous installation. Neither topmind GmbH or a third party has access to this data. For this feature to be enabled, you have to be logged in with your iCloud account and have iCloud enabled for $BAH in the system settings.
We store your email address and content of messages when you contact us. You have the right to withdraw consent to storing this data at any time.
We store your email address and your name within Apples Testflight if you whish to participate in the public beta program. You have the right to withdraw consent to storing this data at any time.
The $BAH app and backend uses the Sentry.io SDK for the purpose of reporting crashes and application metadata. No personal user information/data is shared. https://sentry.io/privacy/

Our website and services provide users the option to sign up for our newsletter. When users subscribe to our newsletter, the data they provide on the subscription form is sent to us.
During the subscription process, the user is asked to provide their consent for their data to be processed. A link to this data protection declaration is also provided. None of the data processed as part of the subscription to our newsletter is shared with third parties. The data is used exclusively for the purpose of sending you our newsletter.
The legal basis for processing data as part of our newsletter subscription process can be found in article 6, section 1, item a) of the GDPR.
We collect users' email addresses for the purposes of delivering our newsletter. Any other personal data collected as part of the subscription process is used to prevent the misuse of services or the email address provided.

Users can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. A link is provided in each newsletter that users can click on to unsubscribe. Users can also unsubscribe by using the privacy dashboard of our app. The option is also provided to revoke permission for the storage of any personal data collected during the subscription process.
